Devon Ridge Oliver Art (Oliver)
Connemara Stallion Prospect
Heterozygous Grey from Bay

2020 Heterozygous grey from bay Connemara colt impeccably bred by Jocelyn Davies of Devon Ridge Farm.  His sire *ArdCeltic Art needs no introduction.  His dam, bred and owned by Jocelyn descends from top performance lines introduced into North America in the 1950's.  We have always admired Jocelyn's breeding program and are super excited to have this colt as a result of her thoughtful pairing of stallions to mares.

Oliver's dam Arwyn is a lovely bay mare with fantastic movement.  She is a young mare who just started her under saddle career.  Oliver's maternal grand dam, Avenn's Airrin Tara was an FEI pony who competed Advanced level combined driving and earned several championships in carriage driving.  Oliver's maternal sire, Bantry Bay's Dillon, competed with many championships up to 1.15 m and also competed to Level II dressage. For the past 10 years Dillon has been an amateur mount.  He has sired countless talented pure and partbred Connemaras for Jocelyn.

Oliver is expected to mature 15 hands.    He will remain at Devon Ridge Farm until spring 2021 when he will be shipped home to Hidden Creek Horses.  HCH is very excited for the the future of this colt.
