Solid Intermedate Level competitor placing 12th at the American Eventing Championships at Intermediate
Although Art did not compete in a lot of events in 2011, he came out in the fall and moved up to Intermediate after "playing around" at some Training level events. We made sure to do our "homework" schooling and conditioning so we were prepared for the level. Art stepped up to the plate and ran around solidly with good placings at 3 Intermediates and a CIC**. My focus was primarily on having good, confident runs, however due to my schedule, our conditioning program was not as fine-tuned as I would have liked it. Fitness will therefore be our primary goal for 2012.
